More than just a roach clip! Reclaimed Amazon hardwood sticks fastened to a good-quality alligator clip and finished with peyote-stitched collar or leather wrap, and strands of trade beads and semi-precious gemchips and other fun stuff
Cece and I recognize the urgency of reducing dependency on virgin resources, and reclaiming Amazon Hardwood flooring scraps into our premium roach clips is one way we can enjoy the beauty and durability of materials we would never choose to buy 'new'. I get passionate about trees: I live in forestland that has been logged prior to my arrival, and I spend a great deal of my time restoring the land to a more pristine state. I enjoy climbing trees and caring for them... I also enjoy working with wood, and respect that the raw materials I use in my shop come from a living entity that was sacrificed for this purpose. Walking in balance; a medicine we incorporate in every roach clip on-a-stick on this site, and all aspects of our lives.
Each stick is hand-sanded and rubbed several times with pure linseed oil and steel wool until it develops a satiny feel and effuses the deep, rich and natural colors of these prized woods.
I've sourced good quality alligator clips, the jaws have ample capacity for some hefty doobies and you'll immediately notice how sturdy the entire piece is. We've designed our roach clip on-a-stick to be durable, and you will appreciate it in years of beauty and service you can expect from these individually-crafted, stylish clips; whether for assisting in medical marijuana use, recreational 420 - or even as a novel holder for your business cards.
The beaded strands attached to our sticks may include some item such as an animal totem or similar Native American-style symbol cast in silver or pewter. Beads are glass, ceramic, brass or gemstone and an occasional cedarberry, all strung on Acculon coated wire. Attachment point is wrapped in a bit of leather and/or peyote-stiched seed beads; we have collected the feathers over many years. Cece and I both feel nourished by the water and forest energy of our sanctuary home, and we embody that in our craft.

Fred & Cece
